The family expands: the Ailes by Harmony pool

We are pleased to announce that a partnership has been signed between the Société coopérative d'Habitation "les Ailes"/Ville de Meyrin and the Harmony Group. The latter will take over the management and operation of the Cointrin Sports Center, Piscine des Ailes. From mid-May to mid-September, Harmony organizes a wide range of activities on site, in addition to safety supervision. Whether for the whole family, in the water or outdoors, everything is designed to help you make the most of the summer season.

To help you prepare for summer, we're organizing a series of multi-activity courses for children aged 6 to 11, from July 1 to 12, and August 12 to 16, Monday to Friday. These courses include a variety of sporting, aquatic, cultural and fun activities, all supervised by professionals.

In light of your feedback, we've taken steps to improve your experience at our club.

You may have already noticed the breath of fresh air in our cardio and weight training areas, as well as in our group classrooms.

But that's not all! We've also heard your requests regarding convenience and comfort, so we're delighted to announce the addition of new hairdryers in our changing rooms. We hope this little attention will make your post-workout routine more convenient and enjoyable.

In addition, we have carefully considered your suggestions regarding our course schedules and have made adjustments to better match your availability and preferences. These adjustments will be on a trial basis until this summer, during which time we'll be listening carefully to your feedback to ensure that our services are perfectly adapted to your needs.

Yoga
Yoga is a holistic practice combining physical postures, conscious breathing and meditation to cultivate mental, physical and emotional well-being. Suitable for everyone, it aims to strengthen the body, calm the mind and encourage connection with oneself.

30' HIIT Cycling
HIIT cycling is a workout on a stationary bike, alternating between periods of maximum effort and active recovery. It aims to burn fat, improve cardiovascular fitness and strengthen muscles, all in a short, intense format.

45' Circuit Training
The circuit training class is a workout that combines different strength, cardio and flexibility exercises, performed in rapid succession. Each exercise is performed for a set period of time, followed by a short break, promoting muscle strengthening, endurance and caloric expenditure.

45' Core
By working the deep muscles of your body and core, you'll feel more toned and better - both in everyday life and in your favourite sporting activities - thanks to functional exercises, with elastics and weights.

Body Balance
Inspired by yoga, Body Balance is a class designed to improve your physical and mental well-being. You'll loosen up with simple yoga movements, find inner strength with Tai Chi and strengthen your core with Pilates. You'll strengthen your whole body and leave the class feeling calm and centered.

Corporate Games

Looking for a unique experience to strengthen team cohesion and stimulate the spirit of collaboration? Look no further. Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or have barely dipped your toes in the water, our event is designed to accommodate all skill levels.

ON THE PROGRAM

We're delighted to announce that the 2nd Corporate Game will take place on June 4, 2024!
This inter-company competition, organized in partnership with GN Natation 1885, promises an evening full of joy, challenge and camaraderie.

The Corporate Game is also a unique opportunity to bring your teams together around a stimulating sporting challenge. This year, we invite you to form teams of 6 and take part in the 6 x 50 m freestyle relay. It's the perfect way to take on a group challenge, promote team spirit and enjoy the pleasures of swimming.

At the end of the day, both team and individual performances will be rewarded. Ready to dive in?

Balance Lab: a new dance school

Harmony is delighted to announce a new partnership with Léa Bouverat, Director of the Balance Lab dance school and dance teacher. She and we are delighted to announce the opening of a brand new dance school: Balance Lab. A space where your children can blossom through the art of movement. Balance Lab focuses on creativity, artistic expression and the personal development of each student.

From August 26, 2024, in the Harmony Fitness studio in Versoix, Balance Lab will be offering classical and contemporary dance classes for children aged 4 to 12! Classes are specially designed to meet the needs, level and age of each student, guaranteeing progressive and adapted learning.

An introductory course is organized from July 1 to 5, 2024: a perfect opportunity for your children to discover the school, the disciplines and begin their journey into the world of dance.

Discovery course in sophrology and stretching

Cinzia, Harmony's sports coach, invites you to immerse yourself in an experience of relaxation and balance during her discovery workshop in sophrology and stretching. Come and experience a moment of inner contact with yourself, creating harmony of body and mind.

Sophrology is a mind-body method used in personal development. It provides mental and physical well-being by eliminating stress, anxiety and fatigue, while helping to channel and manage negative emotions.

To this method, I like to add dynamic sophrology breathing exercises created by Doctor Alfonso Caycedo, who developed a form of awareness training.

I also combine sophrology with static stretching, accessible to all, which completes this wonderful method by oxygenating the muscles and relaxing our fascias.

Get ready to meet Jonathan Tondeur, a passionate recruit who perfectly embodies our commitment to well-being and health. Let's find out together what motivates "Jo" and how his personal journey can inspire each and every one of our members on their own journey to wellness.

Who am I?
Hello, my name is Jonathan and I come from the flat country. I've always been involved in sport (running, soccer, indoor soccer, cycling), but I discovered fitness in 2006. And it just clicked! I decided to make it my profession. I trained in personal training in 2007 and began my new career. In 2008, I accompanied a client to an RPM class and was hooked! I'd never set foot in a group class before...

What's my background?
From 2008, I continued my training in personal training and added group classes to my portfolio. With the aim of improving my support for anyone wishing to include physical activity in their routine, I decided to train in nutritherapy. Diploma obtained in 2015. In parallel with the sport-health aspect, I'm turning to competitive running and triathlon, which I'm training for from 2019 to 2023.
My leitmotiv being the development of each individual's full potential through physical activity, I'm at your disposal to support you whatever your objective.

Not only does this save precious time in the kitchen, it also ensures that you always have healthy, balanced meals on hand, helping you to avoid the temptations of fast food or less healthy ready-made meals.

How to get started

Plan your meals: start by drawing up a meal plan for the week ahead. Choose simple, balanced recipes that can be easily prepared in large quantities.

Shop accordingly: draw up a shopping list and buy all the ingredients you'll need for the week.

Prepare your meals: pick a day of the week when you have a little free time to devote to meal preparation. Then prepare several portions of each dish and store them in airtight containers in the fridge or freezer.

Reheat and enjoy: simply reheat your prepared meals when you're ready to eat them.
