Strengthening of muscles, Balance

PILATES is a full-body workout consisting of breath-based exercises such as crunches, plank (also lateral) and standing balance exercises, which have a strengthening effect on the body and a calming effect on the mind.

This sport focuses on the center of the body, also called in this context: "the trunk". From the ribs to the pelvis, all the muscles of the chest are strengthened through slow but intensive movements.
