COLLABORATOR PROFILE

Meet Alizée, Signy's new coach since the start of the school year

This month, we have the pleasure of meeting Alizée Crozet, 23, former figure skater with the French national team and dog handler in the army, who has chosen to devote herself to sports coaching, sharing her passion and experience with the Signy Club.

Can you briefly introduce yourself?

My name is Alizée Crozet, and I'm 23 years old. I've always been passionate about sport, especially figure skating, where I was part of the French team for 8 years. This enabled me to spend 4 years at INSEP, France's leading sports school. I then served 3 years in the army as a dog handler.

How did you become a sports coach?

Sport has always been part of my life, with my parents themselves being sports coaches in France, and of course through my own career. During my years in the army, I realized that what I was missing were the values of sharing that I found in sport and fitness. That's what prompted me to come back to this world, and I have absolutely no regrets, because I feel I'm right where I should be today.

What are your specialities?

I'm a multi-skilled trainer: I run group classes and work out in weight training areas. I'm currently training to become a Personal Trainer and to broaden my skills in different group class concepts.

What are your qualities at work?

I'm always smiling, very available for customers, and helpful.

What do you like best about your job? What about Harmony clubs?

What I love is helping people achieve their goals and bringing them joy. At Harmony, I felt immediately integrated, which was really important for me.

Do you have any personal projects, goals or challenges?

My main goal is to complete my Personal Trainer training and specialize in Les Mills concepts. I'm also keen to continue learning from other coaches to perfect my work.

Where and when can we find you in Harmony clubs?

I'm at Harmony Signy on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and at Harmony Gland on Fridays.

Your idol?

Simone Biles. She is a model of perseverance and success. Despite obstacles and injuries, she managed to come back and win the Olympics.

Cycling in Morocco this Fall: A Cultural and Sports Adventure

Morocco is a cyclist's dream destination, offering a diversity of fascinating landscapes, from the majestic mountains of the High Atlas to the vast desert expanses of the south. Cycling through this country allows you to immerse yourself in its natural beauty while discovering its rich culture and age-old traditions.

Varied landscapes and unforgettable encounters

As you cycle through Morocco, you'll be amazed by the variety of panoramas. The High Atlas mountains reveal winding roads offering spectacular views, while the arid plains plunge you into the heart of the desert. Along the way, you'll pass through traditional Berber villages, where you'll have the opportunity to meet friendly locals and discover their authentic way of life.

The discovery of historic kasbahs, some of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites, adds a unique cultural dimension to this trip. These earthen fortresses, witnesses to an ancient history, blend perfectly into the Moroccan landscape and serve as a reminder of the country's rich heritage.

A sporting challenge in an exceptional setting

Cycling in Morocco not only offers breathtaking scenery, but also a sporting challenge. With routes adapted to different levels, cycling enthusiasts will enjoy an enriching experience on varied roads, often paved, sometimes rougher, but always accessible. The autumn climate, with mild temperatures from September to November, is ideal for long days of cycling.

The daily distance varies according to your desires, allowing you to enjoy the landscape to the full while taking on a physical challenge. Cycling, an ecological and slow means of transport, offers a privileged connection with the Moroccan environment, whether in the mountains, valleys or desert plains.

An authentic, immersive experience

Morocco by bike offers a complete immersion in the country's culture and nature. Along the way, you can savor local cuisine, visit colorful markets and discover the well-kept secrets of southern Morocco. You'll also have the chance to spend nights under the stars in traditional camps or stay in typical riads and kasbahs.

This trip is a real return to basics, allowing you to disconnect from modern life and live an authentic experience to the rhythm of pedaling.

For those who want to live this unique experience, Decathlon Travel offers this cycling trip, combining adventure and discovery of Morocco. More information on their website.

Mushrooms: a vitamin concentrate and a slimming ally in autumn!

With the arrival of autumn, mushrooms abound in our forests and on our shelves. This is the perfect season to enjoy their nutritional benefits while discovering the diversity of species. In addition to their delicious taste, mushrooms are rich in vitamins and excellent for weight management, making them an ideal food for this time of year.

Rich in vitamins and minerals

Mushrooms are one of the few dietary sources of vitamin D, particularly valuable in autumn when sunshine diminishes. Vitamin D is crucial for bone health, aiding calcium absorption and strengthening the immune system to fight winter illnesses. Porcini mushrooms are particularly rich in this vitamin, making them the perfect choice for strengthening your body during this period.

In addition to vitamin D, mushrooms are an excellent source of B vitamins, such as B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin) and B5 (pantothenic acid), essential for energy production and nervous system function. Oyster mushrooms and shiitakes, often eaten in autumn, are rich in fiber and vitamins. These mushrooms help keep your metabolism active all season long.

Mushrooms also contain essential minerals such as iron, zinc and selenium, which protect cells against oxidative stress. Porcini, boletus and button mushrooms are excellent sources of these nutrients, helping to keep the body strong and healthy throughout the autumn.

An autumnal slimming ally

With the arrival of richer autumn dishes, mushrooms are perfect for balancing your diet. They're very low in calories, with just 30 calories per 100g, and contain over 90% water, making them ideal for those looking to watch their weight. Autumn mushrooms, such as chanterelles and ceps, can be incorporated into a multitude of recipes without weighing down your meals.

Their high fiber content helps prolong the feeling of satiety, which reduces snacking cravings and helps maintain a balanced diet. Thanks to their vitamins, mushrooms also stimulate the metabolism, making it easier to convert food into energy. Whether pan-fried, as a side dish or in soup, mushrooms add flavor and texture while keeping calorie intake low.

Cream of mushroom soup with croutons and low-fat fromage blanc

Ingredients:

  • 300 g mushrooms
  • 0.25 l skim milk
  • 1 vegetable stock
  • 0.25 l water
  • 1 tablespoon oat bran
  • 1 tablespoon wheat bran
  • 1 tbsp. 0% fromage frais
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 tbsp. baking powder

Instructions :

Wash and slice the mushrooms into thin strips, then cook in a pan of boiling water for 10 minutes. Add the vegetable stock cube to flavour. Once cooked, blend the mushrooms with their juices until smooth. Add the skimmed milk and blend again, then set the soup aside.

In a bowl, combine the oat bran, wheat bran, garlic powder, baking powder, fromage blanc and egg. Work the dough until well incorporated. Spread out in a porcelain dish and microwave for 3 minutes at 750 watts. Leave to cool, then slice the bread into small croutons.

Roast the croutons in the oven at 180°C for 2 minutes, until lightly browned. Serve the hot mushroom soup in bowls and garnish with the homemade croutons.

Enjoy your meal!
